DIXMOOR, In poor health. (CBS) — Two water primary breaks in south suburban Dixmoor have been repaired, based on an announcement by Mayor Fitzgerald Roberts.
On Saturday water was gushing from the pavement close to 144th and Paulina streets. A second break occurred only a few blocks away at 141st and Wooden Streets.
There isn’t a boil water order, and water service has been absolutely restored, the mayor stated.
“The repairs have been accomplished final night time,” Roberts stated. “We’re not issuing a boil water order presently. Hopefully these breaks don’t set off extra breaks. We’re grateful to the crews who labored into the night time to get these repairs down.”
There have been 14 water primary breaks within the village for the reason that finish of January.
