Ilya Sutskever, co-founder and chief scientist of OpenAI, introduced that he was leaving the influential AI firm Tuesday after virtually a decade.
An individual conversant in the scenario, who spoke on the situation of anonymity to debate delicate issues, mentioned Sutskever had not been on the firm for months.
Sutskever was one of many OpenAI board members who voted to take away co-founder Sam Altman as chief government in November. Altman was reinstated days later, and Sutskever and the opposite administrators who voted towards Altman resigned from the board.
