PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – An app that permits college students to ship tricks to regulation enforcement businesses is the explanation behind the arrest of a Putnam County scholar accused of bringing a gun to high school.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned a tip on the FortifyFL app led authorities to the ninth grader at QI Roberts Junior-Senior Excessive College.
Deputy Brady, who’s assigned to the college, discovered the coed with a gun of their backpack. The deputy secured the handgun and took the coed into custody simply three minutes after authorities acquired the alert.
The varsity didn’t go below lockdown as a result of the campus was not altering courses and officers didn’t need to let the coed know they have been conscious of the state of affairs.
