Xiaomi is allegedly engaged on a button-less smartphone, which it’ll launch within the first half of subsequent 12 months. It’s apparently codenamed Zhuque, and its standout characteristic will clearly be its complete lack of buttons.
Sadly the supply of this data does not truly know what is going to change the buttons – so it may very well be mixture of gesture controls, pressure-sensitive edges, or voice instructions.
The cellphone can even have an under-display selfie digital camera, which can hopefully be higher than Samsung’s efforts on this house. The Zhuque will probably be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4 SoC, which can even be used within the Xiaomi 15S Professional, a tool that is anticipated to land between April and June 2025.
It looks as if the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4 will probably be an improved model of the 8 Gen 4 which is because of launch this October.
As for the Zhuque, we’ll have to attend and see if it is going to be a hit or extra of a distinct segment demo product just like the Meizu Zero. Keep in mind the Meizu Zero? Precisely.
