PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a girl was reportedly pushed into the Seekonk River by somebody she met on a relationship app.
The incident occurred on the Gano Park Boat Launch Sunday night, in response to a police report obtained by 12 Information.
The girl instructed officers she was on a date with a person she’d met three months in the past on the relationship app “Loads of Fish.”
The 2 have been contained in the automotive on the boat launch when the person grew to become offended with the girl, in response to police. The girl claimed he instructed her, “I’m carried out with this, you may have been taking part in me.”
Police mentioned the person then accelerated and crashed the automotive into the water with each of them inside.
The girl rapidly opened the passenger aspect door and swam to shore, in response to the police report. She then ran down the road and right into a resident who referred to as police.
