MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The App State males’s and girls’s observe and discipline group closed out the primary day of competitors on the Solar Belt Outside Championships with a trio of top-five finishes and 7 Mountaineers advancing to Saturday’s finals in 4 occasions.
Senior Oliver Wilson-Prepare dinner completed fourth within the males’s 10,000 meters with a time of 30:33.92, whereas sophomore Chase Burrell took fifth with a time of 31:19.92. Sophomore Linnea Maynard rounded out the top-10 within the ladies’s 10,000 meters with a private better of 37:01.94.

Seniors Mariah Atwater and Taylor Smith took fifth (24.12, PR) and eighth (24.25, PR), respectively, within the ladies’s 200-meter prelims.
Freshman Christian Gore clocked a time of 53.65 to put eighth within the males’s 400-meter hurdle prelim. Within the males’s 1,500-meter prelim, senior Jonah Morris and juniors Rylan Haskett and Dwayne Lillie took eighth (4:01.12), ninth (4:01.22), and eleventh (4:02.18) to qualify for the ultimate.
