Chandigarh: Downloading a cellular utility for doubling his funding has price a Sector 11 resident Rs 66,000 in a web based fraud, police stated on Friday after registering a dishonest case. Mahesh Ram, the sufferer, stated he obtained a hyperlink of an organization referred to as “Vista” on his WhatsApp on Might 5. He downloaded the hyperlink and registered on the applying. He alleged he was lured on the pretext of getting double the sum of money invested. He alleged he put in Rs 18,000 and Rs 48,000 on Might 12 and 14. He alleged the applying began exhibiting some error and stopped engaged on Might 19. On his criticism, police registered a case. TNN
