There are days when Strands is just too straightforward, and at present is considered one of them. The theme of SOCIALMEDIA was apparent as quickly as I noticed TWEET lurking within the high left nook of the board, notably given the clue of ‘Extraordinarily on-line’, and after that it was merely a matter of my monitoring down different associated phrases. It helped that the spangram was itself the phrases SOCIALMEDIA, so there wasn’t even any ambiguity there. I used to be executed and dusted inside about two minutes, which is ok – however I would welcome a barely harder problem tomorrow.
